Mariner 10 Outgoing view of Mercury

This "outgoing" photomosaic is composed of pictures taken by Mariner 10 as it flew by after the first encounter in March 1974. The bright-rayed crater, Degas, can be seen in the mid-upper right, while part of the Caloris Basin can just be seen on the mid-upper left.
